Pool excavation in Sydney
Shells dug to the set out, on open blocks and on the awkward ones behind a finished house. We work for pool builders, landscapers and homeowners.

The dig follows the surveyor's set out for position, depth and shape, so the shell crew arrive to a hole that is where the plan says it is. Over dig costs money in backfill and concrete, under dig costs a day and a machine coming back. Neither should be happening.
The blocks other people would rather not quote
Sydney backyards are rarely flat, rarely open and rarely far from a boundary. Sloping sites, rear yards reached only through a side passage, blocks with rock close to the surface and pools going in beside an existing house are all normal work for us. Tight access is our specialty, so a pool that has to be dug through a gate is not the exception.
Rock, spoil and what happens to it
Rock is common across a lot of Sydney and it changes the method and the program. Where rock breaking is needed it is quoted as part of the job rather than sprung on you halfway through. Spoil removal is planned around what can physically reach the dig.
What a pool dig with us covers
- Excavation to the surveyor's set out for position, depth and shape
- Rear yard and tight access pool digs through side passages
- Sloping and stepped block excavation
- Rock breaking where the ground calls for it
- Spoil removal and site tidy
- Over dig and batter allowance for the shell crew to work in
- Coordination with the pool builder's program
- Trenching for pool services and drainage where needed

The quickest way to an honest answer is a photo of the site and the access, the suburb, and a line about what needs to happen. The quote comes back free.
